Homestay is one of the best ways to experience Australian way of life!

Living in an Australian home will help you to use your English skills in everyday situations. Homestay options include the choice of Full-Board or Half-Board. Each home is regularly visited by our Homestay Coordinator, so you can expect the highest standards.

  • All homestays are located within 50 minutes travel time to/from BROWNS’ Brisbane or Gold Coast campus, and within 1 hour and 15 minutes travel time to/from BROWNS’ Melbourne Campus.
  • It is sometimes possible to walk or bicycle to school.
  • Before you leave home you will be sent a profile of your host family, including photos, enabling you to become familiar with your Australian hosts.

As well as placing our students with homestay families, our Homestay Coordinator is also available to talk to you if you need advice about adjusting to family life in Australia.
