Process
If you want to take the BOPT to know what your current English level is or you have been requested to take it by BROWNS as part of your enrolment process, please follow these steps.

Create
Go to myBROWNS and log in. If you do not have an account yet, create one first.

Navigate
In the menu, select Online Tests, then click My Tests.

Start
Choose BOPT (BROWNS Online Placement Test) and click Start Test.

Complete
After finishing the test, we will let you know when your results are ready (usually take less than a minute).
What you need to know before taking the test:
- You have only one attempt.
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
- You have 45 minutes to complete the test.
- It must be completed in one sitting (you can’t save and finish later).
- The test should be completed independently, without help or translation tools (you will be re-tested on your first day).
- Don’t worry — the test is designed to help us place you in the right level, not to pass or fail you.
