Junior Program Australia
Our first two Junior Programs for 2017 kicked off last week and we welcomed 25 students from New Caledonia, Brazil, Korea and France.
After a few games & introductions…
In morning classes, we learned about
– Online resources to use to improve your English – we did some listening & reading practice in the computer lab
– Sports, Games & hobbies & the verbs used with them
– Prepositions & how to give directions in English
– Holidays & using The Past Simple tense to recount them
– Daily Routines & The Present Simple Tense v’s The Present Continuous Tense
The afternoons were fun filled:
Monday we went to Q1 to see a view of the city, followed by a stop at Narrowneck Beach
Tuesday we played Aussie Sports in the park
Wednesday we had a Scavenger hunt photo challenge using a smart phone technology & apps
Thursday we went to TIMEZONE in Surfers Paradise
Friday we had a class party, with pizza & games
Saturday we went to MOVIEWORLD
